Coach Mark is an amazing teacher. He explains swimming skills in simple and clear ways. After only a few lessons, my kid advanced from city swim level 3 to level 6, and learned the butterfly stroke in a very short time. Truly grateful for his wonderful teaching!

We took classes with Mark a couple years ago and he was excellent with my busy and distracted 5 year old. He was patient, kind but gave clear, consistent direction (and redirection) to him. He made classes fun and I would highly recommend him! Really looking forward to him hopefully starting group lessons again

I am glad we have Charke swim as an option to the community centres. The schedules are flexible and easy to register. Classes are small and easy to get in and out. My kids are both learning and having fun in each of their classes. They thoroughly enjoy the experience.

We had such a wonderful experience with Cadence at Charke swim! My daughter really struggled with swim kids 1 through Parks and Rec and we didn’t feel like she was getting the instruction she needed to move to the next level. We did 3 private lessons with Cadence and it made such a world of difference! She’s swimming on her own and is much more comfortable in the water. And most importantly she feels confident and is really enjoying swimming for the first time since she started. Now all she wants to do is go swimming! We’re returning for lessons in September and my 5 year old will be going here too! Highly recommend.

My daughter just finished Swimmer 1 and I'm super happy. She was looking forward to every single lesson.She made such great progress and is now ready for Swimmer 2. Conall was such a great instructor. We're definitely gonna be back for Swimmer 2.

We are so grateful for this opportunity to enroll our kids in swim lessons, since it’s basically impossible to get registered for lessons with the city. Such an important life skill should be more accessible. So thank you Charke Swim for making it possible for my kids and many others to learn how to swim.

Highly recommend Mark. His teaching methodology is great. My autistic child who also has ADHD is still asking every night to go to swimming lessons. Mark helped her to move from Res Cross level 1 to 2 in three weeks🤩

Mark is an absolutely incredible instructor! He has tons of experience, and how he handles his students is amazing. The improvements seen in our boys' swimming was remarkable!!

My grandson is very nervous being in water without a life jacket on. Mark had him feeling so relaxed and comfortable in the water within minutes. His knowledge and playful humor worked wonders. Highly recommend.

My 3 year old son had 4 lessons with Charke Swim. He's an energetic, fun loving but cautious boy. We spent the 2 weeks after his last lesson in water as much as we could and the last time we went to the pool he was swimming by himself underwater, using the noodles and floating on his back... he absolutely loved his swim lessons with Charke and still tells me about all the things that Charke taught him, it really stuck. Totally worth it.

I am very impressed with his teaching, patience with children and overall skill in how he teaches swimming. By far the best swim instructor (I have three children and many swimming lessons taken through parks). My youngest completed Mark’s swimming Red Cross level three with confidence in her swimming abilities and is onto her next level.
