Charke Swim March Update

Hi Everyone,

The Parksville pool cancelled the rental at the last minute today. The owner wants to modify the pool. I have moved most people affected to Pacific Shores and increased my rentals there. The new times are as follows; March: Tues + Fri/Sat/Sun 3-7PM at Pacific Shores April: Thurs-Sun 3-7PM at Pacific Shores

I talked to In-Space about Stephenson Point and they look on-track for a January 2026 re-opening. I continue to hunt for a house with pool I can rent in Nanaimo. I've looked at several houses recently but they were either taken or did not accept the rental - but I continue to look.
Home Lessons - I am now insured to be able to teach lessons at your pool. The cost is 40$ per 30 minutes (minimum 1 hour) and I bring my own teaching supplies.
Stephenson Point Pool - I talked to In-Space today and they look like they are on-track for a January 2026 re-opening.

Charke Swim Feb Update

Hi Everyone,

I've just launched classes for March and April 2025. 3-7PM Mon-Wed I will continue to be at Pacific Shores Resort. New Pool Starting in March, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday I will be at a new indoor location in Parksville, a private residence at 622 Willow Street Parksville BC. At this new location, parents will be welcome to sit on the pool deck! This is one of the main reasons for the move.
Pool Hunting I am looking for a house with a pool, or just a pool, to rent or buy in Nanaimo. If you know of anything, especially if it's new on the market or not advertised, please let me know. In the last year, I've look at building, buying or renting a pool. (Stephenson Point Pool continues to suffer repair delays and probably won't be open until 2026.)

Dec Class Requests
December is not the most popular time for swimming and I've scaled back my hours a bit, but if you want a class and don't see one, please contact me! I have time available on Sun, Wed, Thur, Fri between 5 and 7PM for extra classes. I can also do classes during the holiday break Dec 26-31 but they will be 1 hour minimum.
