Nanaimo Pool is Cold

Re: NAC Lessons Sunday, Nov 20th 2022 The Nanaimo Aquatic Centre has suffered some kind of mechanical failure and there is a warning on their site that the Main Pool is colder than normal. I can try offer makeup classes at the Stephenson Point Road pool if you can't make it to class on Sunday the 20th. It's going to be a fun one tomorrow but that's the normal trials and tribulations of swimming unfortunately. I guess Ice Safety will be the topic of the day. I will be at class regardless, although you might not recognise me in my blue frozen skin. :) This is Deja Vu because Stephenson Point suffered a similar problem after the storm and power outage. I have taught in a lot of cold pools over the years. It happens. We'll make the best of it. Maybe we can ask for Lifejackets and learn some survival skills.
