Charke Swim - Aug and Sept

August 15th 2022 our second set of lessons starts. Swim Basics 1 (Adult/Teen basics) and two Swim Basics 2 (Adult/Teen advanced) from 7 AM to 8:30 M-F Aug 15-26 at Nanaimo Aquatic Center. With NAC closed during Sept for maintenance Beban is so busy I have no rental options. Therefore I am offering to come to private pools and teach during Sept 2022. I have weekday afternoons free plus any time I'm not working my other job. The cost is 100$ per hour (min 1 hour) which pays for between 1 and 7 students. I am available anywhere in Nanaimo. I'm still negotiating for rental space in October and beyond. Sincerely,

Charke Swim Launch

A reminder to everyone who has registered, tomorrow is the launch for Charke Swim. We still have spots open for the Swim Basics 2 (Adults and Teens). I have also opened registration for classes for August 15 to 26th, focusing on Adult classes.

New Classes for Aug 2-12

With no interest in the early morning Red Cross 4 and 5/6 classes, I have replaced them with Swim Basics level 2 classes. This is the advanced Adults and Teens class and it is taught in deep water. What skills we work on is up to you. I can teach any stroke; Front Crawl, Back Crawl, Breast Stroke, Butterfly, Sidestroke and Elementary Backstroke, plus diving, turns, starts, stroke efficiency, and any specific element you are interested in such as breathing, co-ordination, kicking etc. I would also be happy to evaluate your strokes and make suggestions about what to work on. These two classes are back-to-back and if you are interested you can sign up for both. As the content is very custom, I can just keep working on what you want right through both. If you are finding this late, please contact me and I'll pro-rate the class. You can join at any time and I'll adjust the pricing for the remaining days.
